DSC Prize submissions deadline extended to May 15

The DSC Prize for South Asian Literature, now in its second year, awards US $50,000 to the best work of fiction pertaining to the South Asian region, published in English and including translations into English. The Prize is a unique venture by the Indian infrastructure firm DSC that focuses – as with the Festival – on South Asian writing; not author-ethnicity driven and open to any work pertaining to South Asia – its people, culture, and Diaspora. The first DSC Prize was awarded to HM Naqvi for his debut novel Home Boy (HarperCollins India) early this year. Further details for entry can be found on the Prize website here.
