About Seasuite
SeaSuite began its international voyage of discovery in 2007 when poet Eisha Karol collaborated with dancer Claire Elise Hancock and Indian jazz vocalist Sandhya Sanjana to create SeaSuite:Ultraviolet. As it evolved, many other artists became involved with the project including flamenco dancers, contemporary dancers, percussionists, a cellist, and a film was made to accompany the piece by Arne Sjögren with an electronic soundscape by Imran Ahmad. SeaSuite:Ultraviolet was performed at many venues including the Edinburgh Fringe, Indian Electronica Festival, Cargo, the Osho Ashram in Pune, the University of Arizona, Sansara in Ibiza, Tara Studio and The Space.

In 2011 Eisha collaborated with  choreographer Anusha Subramanyam to create SeaSuite:Reincarnation with three bharatanatyam performers for the London Mind Body and Spirit Festival. In this new version for DSC SALF we explore a postmodern perspective in South Asian dance.
