Dr Padmini Ray Murray lectures in publishing studies at the University of Stirling. She has published articles on Byron and gender, embodiment, and book history. Her research interests include the colonial history of the book, the impact of digital technologies on the publishing industry and the graphic novel. She is responsible for Research and Development at the Electric Bookshop, an initiative that focuses on bringing people with a common interest in technology, literature, design and publishing together for discussion and debate.
