When two sisters, Diya and Tara, arrive at their Aunt Ninamasi’s strange, dark house in a suburb of Bombay, they realise pretty soon that things are not always what they seem. One day, Diya finds her hair behaving very oddly indeed… and Tara discovers that she can spread her wings and fly! Disaster strikes when the local sweet-shop owner, Mr. Jeejeebhoy, shuts down his shop because his beloved pet birds have escaped. The children realise that they have to help.

Each illustration is delightfully detailed and evocative, bringing to life the magic of India and the wonders of the world seen through the eyes of these two rather special sisters.

Come and enjoy this quirky tale and see the spectacular pictures as this book makes its debut in the UK.

Suitable for 4-8 year olds.
