Have you ever seen a peacock? Aren’t their colours just the most magnificent? Have you ever seen blues more bright or purples more rich? But one peacock didn’t like the way he was and all he wanted was to be grey. In this beautiful tale created by author Tabish Khair, the peacock didn’t think he was so cool. Grey is chic, he thinks, and so he gives away his colours to his friends. The raven, the swan and the parrot love their looks, but the gifts from the peacock do make them look striking. Will he ever realise what he has done? Come and hear this tale and find out.
Suitable for 4-8 year olds.
