Volunteer
We are looking for volunteers with the right passion for literature and events to join our team in the busy period from now through to the Festival. Relevant experience and a degree are important, but we welcome applications of interest from anyone who believes they have the skills, energy and time to successfully carry out specific roles. In return you get the chance to work with a brilliant team of people, meet some fantastic authors and gain some great experience working with some of the best arts venues, people and organisations in the business. If you have tons of initiative, are highly organised with great people skills and love a fresh challenge get in touch!

SALF is recruiting… bloggers!

The Festival is expanding online and transforming our website into a hub for news, reviews, comments, features and interviews relating to South Asian literature. We’re assembling a team of bloggers to review books and events, write news, features and interview both emerging and prominent authors. Although we can’t pay our bloggers we will be able to offer review copies of new book releases, and free tickets to events. This will also be valuable experience for any budding writers and arts journalists looking to build their CV. The ideal candidate will have a passion for reading, and have some knowledge of South Asian culture, politics and related issues.
